Depression

The lows are really low. I have a lot of tools for not getting sucked up into my thoughts but they seem to be taking on a life of
their own in spite of the tools. 60 days in and I thought it would be a lot easier by now.

I can relate. Hang in there, it does improve, just takes time. I noticed an improvement between 60-90 days. But had a nasty week around 100 days.
Stay strong, it’s worth it!

Thank you Simply Free (love that name!). It helps to hear that it improves and just takes time. It is amazing to me how simply posting my feelings here helps immensely. Very grateful for your encouragement.

Paj,

Typing about it really helps me. I also go to another forum that deals w depression.

It is health unlocked.

I don't go to a therapist. This and the gym are my therapy.

I get down sometimes. I hate my boss. He is a weirdo that tries to act like he has it all figured out. It is so annoying.

Thanks.

Great to hear.

That dang Foggy feeling is a strange space to be in ..

But the feeling when it's gone is awesome.

Yes, midnightRider, it is a strange place to be in. Like your real self is lost in a dark and heavy place, and today that has lifted and I feel like my normal self again. Realizing that this is part of the process and that it will pass is hugely comforting. So grateful I found SR and have a safe place to go for support. Thank u.

So glad your fog has lifted. I'm looking forward to my fog lifting as well.
