Congratulations on your 78 days! A craving is not something we have to act on, and I like to think of them like waves. They come and go, and all we have to do is ride it out. Don't pick up a drink, you'll be so glad you didn't tomorrow. Can you make yourself a cup of tea/coffee or something else non-alcoholic to sip on?

What is driving your cravings? Must be similar to those you had in the past when you were drinking. How did those turn out?
Try eating something filling. Sandwich, bowl of pasta maybe. Take a walk. Hot shower. Read a book. Anything.

Honestly, its been a stressful evening with the kids..one had a melt down and i had to console. My birthday is coming up..kinda stressing about another year older. I woke up at 420 am with my heart racing, so didnt go back to sleep. Also, i didnt eat much today..that just occured to me after i posted..so do feel a bit better after having a snack. Thanks for the help!!😊

Urges are going to do what urges do — acknowledge them, reject them, and let them pass. They will become less frequent. 78 days is great, too, so hang in there!

Stay sober and there will come a time when you don't get cravings anymore.
