Stopped drinking
 

I gave up drinking 2 days ago. My wife told me a week prior she loved me but was not in love anymore. So I proceed to get drunk and yell at her. I love this women with all my heart we have three beautiful kids together. She asked me several times to stop but I just kept saying I will don’t worry. I lost my father 3 years ago at a young age and hit me hard and now I have hurt my family. I hope one day the all forgive me for the pain I have caused. I am going full force at this for myself and for them.

Do you have a plan?

I meet with a lady next Tuesday. I have been keeping my self busy with work, working out and spending what little time I have with my kids I started a calendar. She is letting me have the kids for three days so they will keep me busy. I figured until I meet the lady I would seek out others who have had or have the same problem

Many of us have had hard childhoods and we've triumphed over that and stayed sober - I really believe you can too :)

Welcome to SR,buddy. Number 1 thing needs to be your sobriety for yourself and your children. The wife thing comes in third,if at all to be blunt. A lot of support on all fronts here,man.
