I told husband he could have a drink
So I’m just hanging out on here making sure I have a focus on what I want to belong to. A sober community. His drinking isn’t even bothering me, it’s just kind of reminds me of when I was pregnant and he would have a drink. I’m just saying to my AV nope, I can’t have that.
I’m not gonna lie, when I smelled his breath it was reminiscent. I also know though that I won’t have that one that will lead to 5+ and then lead to a hangover tomorrow, shakes, cravings all that.
It’s a weird place to be in when you really want to test the waters because you can’t avoid alcohol forever, and when he asked if he could have one, I felt right now I can handle myself, but how do you know when you won’t be able to handle it.

I thin k its always good to have an action plan you can kick into action if one day for whatever reason, your husbands drinking makes you want one too.
