Made it to day Five:)

So I made it to day five which I haven't done in God only knows how long. Didn't sleep much again last night. I woke up feeling very groggy and tired like my body is still going through withdrawals. I just know I don't want to go through this process again. I hope everyone else is doing well and keeping the fight going!!

5 days is amazing! I'm on 25 and I still am so tired...and HUNGRY. It's so much better than drinking and being hungover. Stay strong for the weekend.

congratulations on day five. That was always a tough one for me, and I had many of them.
Yes, and just remember you never have to go through the withdrawal and bad feelings again.
Best to you, and keep it up.

Hi Mavy,

What helps me when I wake up groggy is that I repeat several times "I can do anything Sober"....I can handle being tired, I am sober.

It acts sort-of like a mantra, it gets the mind on board that I CAN DO ANYTHING SOBER!!

And before you know it, your believing it and living it.

Have a great sober day, 5 days is awesome!!!!!

Great work. It can only get better, even if we have to live life on life's terms.

Keep us updated.

Good going ..I'm only on day 9. Starting to feel well enough for cravings to hit again, but I made a video (on my tablet) when I was on day 2 (I think) and shows me just what I could be pitched back to, if I give into cravings. I'm not saying it WILL happen to you, but prepare yourself and protect yourself for when you are going to feel a LOT better (and you will) . Well done again!
