11 days sober and feeling great
 

Hi Guys,

Just want to post a positive of being sober for me
(1) my head is clearer
(2) I can feel my body recovering
(3) mental health is getting better
(4) I am more friendly with people
(5) I enjoy walking up every morning
(6) MORE MONEY not that money matters in life right.
I could go on, sobriety it is great but as AA says you have to give it away to keep it.

Beautiful stuff. And what's funny to me, not that you don't know this - is how all these are what non-addicts/alcoholics accept as usual facts of life AND YET life is filled with bad luck, malevolence and illness.

And yet even more, being clean and strong and sober to deal with those hard parts makes everything so my more beautiful.

I'm day 9 and I agree with all of that. it's great isn't it. why didn't I do this sooner !

On like a week and I don't know feel braindead. And not helping being drunk and taking meds and pills either....this where just gotta draw the line man it's fing ill.
