30 days sober and out of rehab

I'm post more on this later, but last time I posted a month ago I was on my way to rehab. Fresh out and 30 days sobers. Amazing experience. Still scared going forward, still cravings, etc., but I'm so much stronger now.

Awesome. Look forward to hearing about your experiences, etc. I was in rehab about 6 months ago and it was absolutely life changing.

Congrats on finishing and checking back in

Glad to have you back and looking forward to hearing about how you plan to maintain your newfound sobriety. I imagine the rehab had a few suggestions?

I'm glad you're back babescake - do you have any aftercare, or support structures?

My rehab was 3 hrs away so I can't come back for aftercare regularly, but will try to visit for alumni services sometimes. I was connected to some women who previously attended there that live near me and have sobriety time and they are going to show me the AA ropes. I also have a couple of other friends to reach out to. Have a therapist already and see them wednesday. I have a temporary sponsor and will look for a permanent one near home.

My husband is going forward with the divorce so my entire situation is up in the air but we met with a counselor about me transitioning back to the home for the time being and healthy boundaries as we navigate through this. My sobriety is first priority.

The therapist and AA you're trying is aftercare.

The rehab I went to was two hours away, so all my aftercare was set up locally - here at home - for me, too.

I found rehab a life-changing experience.
