Good for you!!!

Now don't go runnin' yourself down already. You are capable of doing things you feel are impossible. Sure, it's scary, but courage isn't about not being afraid. It's about being afraid but doing it anyway.

Congratulations Faith - obviously the people who gave you the job see something in you and they think you can do it - we all think you can do it too.

It might be a steep learning curve but don't be afraid to ask questions - thats how we learn

I have recently come to the conclusion that I just need to trust myself. Trust the universe.

Simple but sometimes so hard for me.

Do the next right thing.

Trust yourself. You will do great.

When I was 48 I landed a job as a trainee analyst with a big pharma company . I remember thinking what the hell have I done ,I was terrified . I was there 9 years working my way up to analyst 3 ( there are 4 steps then its senior ) . I was offered a free university placement to study chemistry which I turned down ( I regret that now ) . In my 9 years I was awarded 3 recognition awards for exceptional work .
I realized I had skills and ability far above what I believed I had .

What i'm saying is GO FOR IT , embrace it and BELIEVE in yourself .

Faith, congratulations on the new dream job! I'm sure you will be amazing. And, personally, I think making the choice of less money, but a job more suited to you, is brilliant!
