10weeks and counting
 

Today is 10 weeks for me. Im glad I'm not using anymore. The first 5 was hell. Depressed, anxiety, sad, angry and happy. I try to focus on the good things and find ways to effectively manage stress. My spouse is still using so that is the hardest part in the day to day staying clean. I hope I can help someone or just get some life tips from people who know what I'm going through. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on 10 weeks 10weeks! Glad to hear that things are improving, and it's completely understandable how difficult it must be with a spouse who is still using. You are definitely helping others by sharing your story, hope you can continue to do so!

It would be great if our loved ones gave us the support we need but thats not always the case. It's why places like SR exist - tons of support here :)

Many of our members deal with still drinking spouses. It's an added challenge but it needn't be a deal breaker :)
