33 Days..
Today I'm 33days without alcohol ...
And I can honestly say hand on heart without this site I wouldn't have made it this far ...
I drank a bottle of wine every night ...
At weekends it was two a night ....
And blackouts ....guilt ... Trying to hide all the bottles before my family woke up ...
It was horrible
I suffer from depression and anxiety ...
And from quitting alcohol both have balanced out so much ....
Yes last night I would have loved a glass of wine ....
But I popped on here and I had my soda water and lime ....
In bed at 10.30 with my kindle ...and felt so content .....
The bad times like the night before Christmas Eve when I drove my car with 2 bottles of wine in me to lift my son was my WAKE UP CALL....I couldn't believe I actually drove ....
Sorry for rambling on
I want to thank everyone here an just to say you are all amazing from day one to 20 years of drink
Much love all

That sounds like a much better night, well done on staying the course with your plan and 33 days is fantastic.
For me the mor sober time I achieve the less and less I can believe the crap I used to get up to whilst drunk.
Much better

Good for you, Caralara! I can certainly relate to your post. Guilt, blackouts, and anxiety ... I couldn't take anymore either. You're free to live the life you were meant to, be the person you know you are.
Keep up the great work.

Congrats on 33 days! Nice to hear your story-very much like my own in how much I drank and how his site has been my saving grace! It’s great how the internet can bring things like this right at your fingertips!
Welcome, looking forward to hearing from you!
