Day 42

Just a quick check in because I didn’t post in a while, day 42 sober, feeling pretty good, feel a lot more determined this time, packing in a lot of aa meetings, I’m no holy joe but I’m saying a prayer every morning asking for help for the day, seems to be working , on ward and up ward , stay safe and sober people :thanks:

Great job! I'm on day 39 and feeling ok. I just need to remember that sometimes you need to take baby steps. I also started going to AA/NA meetings and they definitely help.
Keep fighting, it's a lifelong fight but we can do it!

Way to go!!! I'm not far behind you and johndavisboston with 36 days. Still working myself up to AA, which I've disliked in the past, but also...I've relapsed in the past!

Imagine that, a drunk Irishman. Me too. :)

Good news is we don't have to live that way anymore. Glad AA is helping. It's helps me immensely. Very early in I stopped looking at going to meetings as something I "have to" do. Now they are something I want to do.
