Scots,

Getting sober for me meant suffering.

The suffering would lessen and increase for months.

The whole time relapse looms.

My brain and body are still healing.

Booze is a highly addictive neuro toxin that insideously damages us.

Stay clean.

Thanks.

Oh the brain fog, the lack of motivation. They too shall pass.

The poor abused body , soul and mind just need healing time. Do healthly stuff in your diet, supplements, whatever physical activity you can handle and be mindful.

4 days- awesome

"Man, I really wish I didn't get sober"
- SAID NOBODY EVER -

Think of it like swimming up from the bottom of a deep swamp. Near the bottom not much is clear, but the closer you get to the surface the clearer it becomes. And eventually you come out of the swamp. Keep swimming up, it will get clearer.

The for will lift and everything will clear up and come into focus. Takes a bit! But you'll think about how foggy it was now even a week later and be really surprised. Welcome!
