Hi and welcome Kirstie - 50 days is great

The dreams are pretty common, at least in the beginning - but they will fade with time

Hi thank you.

Im glad other people have them. Its hard when you have a good dream about drinking again but everytime ive woke up and felt so relieved it was just a dream. And i remember the disapointment i felt in the dream when i thought id thre away my sobriety.

The drinking dreams are a regular post here on this forum. Lots of people get them.

Congrats on 50 days, that's awesome! I haven't had too many drinking dreams, but other crazy ones for sure. Hopefully they will go away soon.

That's incredible! What does 50 days feel like? I usually get to 3 weeks then mess up, so I'm very curious and interested to know what it's like on the other side I hope you'll stick around and post so we can get to know you more!

Welcome and great going!

I too had vivid drinking dreams and remember a couple in particular that startled me awake - one I was certain was real and got up to go to the kitchen and living room to check for the usual detritus after a night of drinking. The relief when all was just fine!!!

Keep going- I have found that everything is better sober.

Hey 50 days feels amazing. More ups than downs . In the last 4 year ive relapsed 3 times and only ever got to 20 days . I have moreenergy losing weight and looking better . Some days are hard i feel like ive lost my identity as the girl who likes her winebut people only saw the fun side . They didnt see the tears the drinking wine out of a coffee mug before work and the hiding mini wines in my car . I am a better mummy to my boys now. Xxx

Congrats on 50 days, kirstie30

And welcome to SR! I know what you mean about people just seeing our "fun" self while drinking. They did not see me once I was home and could really let loose. They did not see the rage, the tears, and the destruction.

Onward, it just gets better
