Well, the “Best Meatloaf” was a big failure! It must have had too high a liquid content, because it crumbled to bits when I attempted to take it out of the pan! Plus, my husband said it was just too sweet—the meatloaf itself, not just the sauce. That’s because 3/4 cup of the sauce was mixed right in with the meat. My husband was grossed out because he couldn’t tell what was sauce, what was liquid from the vegetables, and what was just a layer of grease! Next time I’ll try leaner hamburger—and I’m going to wait for your classic Southern recipe, Trach! No more fiddling around with imposters! |
Morning everyone, I have been awake for 90 minutes already and it is only 6.40am, there is a howling gale raging outside. Doubtless it will cause travel disruption so I will be headed out for work soon. |
Sorry about the meatloaf... no-one in chez Petals would eat it so I have nothing to offer...sorry. Saou we had that awful gale too.... going to get up and check for damage in a bit... Hugs to all Xx |
