I awoke positively today.
Then I got up
Made honey and lemon for my cold
Trotted back upstairs and shut the door
The door *locked* wouldn't open
Wife tried from the other side. No joy
This door was not opening.

I sat down and thought "What the hell is happening?"

I was anxious, sweating profusely, upset (almost crying)the "woe is me" kicked in.
I thought If I only had a beer this wouldn't be happening.

I had a cigarette. Found my old steel capped boots in the wardrobe

I no longer have a door but that sweet smell of freedom is back.

I have coffee. There is a mess down the way, but I can breathe.

It's harder than you think.

Tomorrow will be better. A new day. You're right, anxiety makes it hard to breathe sometimes. I sympathize so much with your panic, but forgive me, your reaction was kinda funny. I hope you're not offended...and you tell us how you clean up the mess. Sending best wishes to you!

JK ....You have to find humour in things. I guess I write with the humour just hanging there in the background. The feelings I encountered weren't feelings I'm used to so that was strange.

A tad strange not having the door. But I have this floor to myself. So no one can get shocked at me haha. The mess is all cleaned up .....Another day sober too
