Elevated Liver Enzymes

I went to the dr a few days ago. She tested my liver, kidneys, and cholesterol. Kidneys were good, cholesterol slightly elevated, and one of the liver enzymes was 53 (at 41days sober). She said she isnt surprised and it will get better daily..wasnt too worried. Then, i of course googled and see fatty liver...has anyone else experienced this? Im glad i went! I know its only a slight elevation...but still..eek.id hate to know what it was before!

I haven't had a blood test since, I probably need to. I'm feeling better. Bowel movements are normal again they had been black tar and I had a bitter taste in my mouth that never went away and it's gone also. I haven't drank in 11 months.

Thats wonderful! I know the liver can repair itself if its not really damaged. I hope you continue to stay away from booze..black stools is no joke.
