Wanted To Strangle The Dunkin Donuts Employee

Ugghhh!! Im on day 6 and i was fine until i drove past the liquor store i frequented 3 times a week. TRIGGERED. Decided i needed a large sugary hot chocolate at Dunkin Donuts. Employee tells me the hot chocolate machine was not working. It was all i could do not to have a temper tantrum right inside the place. Guess the line in the movie Clean And Sober is true: "Do you know what an addict's least favorite word is? It's NO."

Congrats on 6 Days.
Just because you didn't get the hot chocolate doesn't mean you didn't win.
The real victory was PASSING that liquor store without going in.
Way to rock it!

GOOD FOR YOU! I actually went and parked my truck outside the local liquor store. Just sat there and watched the regulars go in, buy their devil water and leave. I felt so good, and happy just sitting there drinking a water and watching these people go in and out.

I'd like to say that I've been so calm and serene since I got sober 8 months ago.

That may be true at times, but I think sometimes I need anger management classes!
