A whole week

Ive managed a whole week- has it been easy- No. Do I feel better- not really- however I have been told a few times im looking better.
Feeling both happy with my achievement and fed up at the same time. I think that it frustrates me that im congratulating myself for something and everyday normal person would be able to do without a thought.
Anyway the one thing about my last 7 days is that it has inspired others to give up for a limited time which can only be good.

One week is huge. Keep up the good work. I didn't feel good very early on either. IT gets better...if it didn't none of us would stay sober.
I believe in you.

Focus on that sense of satisfaction, and don't worry about what the normies can or cannot do (we are not them). Congrats on 7 days!

I am on Day 7 and feel exactly the same way. But you have to pass 7 to get to 700 and 7,000. There is something more depressing thab "just" being on Day 7 -
starting over again at Day 1.

Omg I remember my 1 week , it’s tough I was expecting so much and felt the same as U ! I also thought please don’t say well done to me as it’s nothing to be proud of! It took me a long time to realise that actually it’s bloody huge achievement! And most people are sweating at the moment doing dry January and that’s without addiction, so yes feel proud! You’re doing great and keep going !

Also, not sure if this helps you, but I am focusing on the fact that I am almost done with the physical withdrawal..the thing that is keeping me going most is that I do NOT want to start that process over.
