Damn toothache! My 4th wisdom tooth is coming in. It’s been a 3 day headache that goes with it. Why is this triggering? My normal way to calm a toothache was with alcohol!! Anyways. I don’t have the money to get it removed so it’s going to be a long go for me. |
Pain is not fun. You can try Sensodyne toothpaste at your local grocery store, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Ebay, Amazon. When i use it on a daily bases in the morning and evening, the toothepaste begins to repair gums and sensitive areas in the mouth and helps bide you some time before spending lots of money on dental work. I think you can also use Orajel that numbs tooth pain too. We use it on our babies when they began cutting teeth. Adults can use it too. :) Hope this helps. :) |
1 advil (or generic) and 1 tylenol (or generic) together works very very well for tooth pain, even down to the nerve need a root canal pain. In double blind clinical trials this combination is more effective than opiods! |
I am the Queen of not going to dentists, I hate them, even the smell of their gloves. However, I am horribly vain and do manage to show up when I need my veneers fixed or my whitening trays redone :) I make my husband buy my whitening gel from them :) Then I don't even have to go through the door. I managed 8 years with a broken molar, until the infections were coming too quickly. Didn't have a single cavity either once they pulled the tooth - take that 6 month check-ups LOL The infections were annoying, but I chipped a permanent veneer, that was my main reason for going. Having said that, oragel makes an adult gel - it tastes horrible, but it works. For a more natural approach, a warm, steeped tea bag for an hour on the spot will help, also if there is infection, tea draws it out. Find an Indian (India the country), masseuse, they can massage any pain away, barring that, go get a conditioning treatment done on your hair, it comes with a great head massage that will take the headache away. Other than that, advil or tylenol, they have anti-inflammatory properties, salt water gargle, I think licorice root or anise both will take pain away. |

Oil of cloves will completely numb it (and probably half your mouth). Tastes vile, but trust me, that stuff works. It's also cheap, and natural and not mood altering. Very handy stuff to keep in the cupboard. Hope it eases soon. BB |
Put a plain aspirin directly on the spot and let is dissolve. |
