Glad to be off the chessboard of drinking/thinking..
After replying to a few threads today about how manipulative drinking made me( I was/am manipulative before drinking by nature..working on it everyday).. I got the vision of a real life chessboard. I'd try so hard everyday/all day(I'd wake up with a plan) to 'move' my 'pieces' into place for a 'fun',if not free, drinking event.. I'd literally spend an hour or more of my work day looking for an excuse to go get drunk that night(should have went to a nice dinner instead),then get mad at my then GF for getting too drunk.... again.. Nice to be able to stand back and see what a storm my addiction brings with it. WOW!
