Day 40 off alcohol Day 16 off marijuana
 

Hello I’m very confused because of symptoms I’m feeling now at this sta ge of recovery. I had to stop drinking beer cold turkey because of bladder surgery. And stopped smoking weed soon after. I waited and weaned off marijuana as low as I could then stopped to try and not complicate my withdraws. I’ve had two bladder surgeries since. And now I’m on oxycodone. Was given .5 mg to take every 4 hrs but I’m only doing.25 every 12 hrs out of fear. Experiencing body aches. Random spasms. Some anxiety. Some memory fog. Insomnia even on oxycodone. And to be honest the oxycodone does make me feel good at all hence the every 12 hrs. Anyone with some advice or similar experiences would be welcomed tremendously.

I can’t comment on your exact situation beyond certainly work with your doctor. I hope you heal quickly and find a commitment to sobriety long term. It really is a good life.

We can;t give you medical advice here but I'd check with your Dr - not every med is ok for everyone. There may be other meds that will work better for you - who knows?
