Thirty
I post every day.
This is my document. I hope to look back in the future and see how things were.
I’ve done this twice before in the last four-odd-years but never decided to quit drinking- my intention was merely to take a break.
This is around the time that I figured that I could easily start back drinking. Thirty days was the time.
This time I know better, so I’m going into uncharted territory right now.
I’ve still got issues I’m facing. The other difference is that I never faced anything the other two times.
My personal life is coming together. I see this. I’m not self-medicating.
It’s better, overall.

I was told stop counting the days, just write down the day you actually became sober meaning not your last drink, when you started to get the jitters when you were 0 BAC.
And then just one day at a time, stop looking at how long, just write it down and if someone asks you look it up. The obsession with how long seems to be a trigger to relapse. 1 day today, then the rest of your life! Daily reprieve as Bill said.
