Hi all!!
Well the holidays are over and I made it through sober!
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and I have been on here looking at other posts getting encourage.
I’d be lying if I said everything is ok, marriage is hard , family life is harder and hating myself just seems like second nature. But I’m seeing a therapist , my husband and I are seeing a couple therapist. I am kick boxing four days away and working hard on staying stable.
Getting sober this time around is ALOT HARDER I had many days I held booze bottles in my hands trying too hide it from everyone and obsessing over it. But victory came when I put it right back where I found it unopened. Here’s too 2018 with over 30days of soberity under my belt and too staying strong and foucsed. It’s great too post here not about a slip or a hurt. But a small victory.

Good luck with your recovery in 2018 and well done on 30 days.......its a tough road but it sounds like you are doing great in difficult circumstances.

Awesome job on 30 days!! Exercising has really helped me also. Kickboxing is so fun. I haven’t tried that in 19 years. I need to go find my video and kick the AV in the chops!! Just wanted to give an encouraging word, well done!
