Happy SOBER New Year!
Today is a day.
It's the eve of the New Year.
Perhaps a day like any other.
Just as there are reasons to drink.
There are reasons to stay sober.
My thoughts are drifting to later tonight.
When there will be fun, joy and many people out for a night.
My only goal today.. like any other ..
Is for me to stay sober.
Pray that this thought takes over.
Enjoy the New Year Celebration.
Most of all... be Safe.
Have a Happy Sober New Year.

Wishing you the same.
There will also be a lot of carnage, trouble, heartbreak and shame unfortunately tomorrow for some of the revellers who may take a wrong turn although started to party with the best of intentions ( Didnt we all)
I am glad I don’t need to concern myself with that. Blessings and safety to everyone tonight, sober, drunk, indoors, outdoors, partying late or tucked up in bed.
