Sore Throat
 

Hello,

I'm 17 days into recovery from alcohol and have a really bad sore throat, how long is this likely to last?

Depends on why your throat is sore. Are your glands in your neck swollen? A virus has to 'run it's course' and that takes days. Are you running a fever? Try hot tea and honey. I sometimes gargle with salt water.

it may be you're run down, have a cold...not have anything to do with quitting drinking at all - but none of us are doctors here :)
