984100 seconds...

Thats 11 days, 9 hours and 21 minutes... give or take a few seconds that it took to write that... I am still sick with a nasty cough. I have continued going to AA meetings and IOP (my last session is coming up tomorrow ) and I feel... ok about being sober. Its not the "triggers" (goodness i hate that word) that make me think about drinking at this point... its the "empty" time. The time I would drink just for something to do (which I guess was all the time 🙄 ) if you know what I mean. To be sure, there is no shortage of things I could or SHOULD be doing while home... there are plenty of closets and drawers and cupboards that need cleaning out... but being sick has thrown a wrench in all my good intentions for this week.
All I know is today I am not drinking.
So... downstairs for more hot tea and honey... and maybe ill put on some ridiculous day time talk show and just be still ... Or maybe ill read and lose myself in a story for a while.
Happy Thursday everyone ☺
