Sorry to hear that Horsie, I hope the ferry trip is over at least.

It's not for long but I will have to go in to work over the weekend in order to change the alarm code which the boss forgot to do. Meh!

Thanks everybody. My mother in law said to me, but you took gravol, Canadian anti nauseam. I said, the ginger kind, that poop doesn't really work lol. There are my two kids right there. Fudge, mom big mouth lol

Hope everyone's weekend plans are shaping up.

Thank you all for the condolence wishes, my husband's family. I do get to spend a couple days on a beautiful but snowy island that looks like a lot like a gingerbread village.

I was supposed to go to bed five hours ago—but I got caught up in binge watching season one of “True Detective” with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.

I’m supposed to go to the supermarket in three hours! Ha! Fat chance! I’ll just have to go later and fight the crowds!

Well Christmas is done... now to deal with New year.. ..and all that entails...including Mr P's overbearing family.... old coping stratergies no longer allowed.... still working out new ones.... I usually drown in coffee and bite my tounge😂. I would go for a walk etc but you get grilled as to why.... Hugs xx

Glad you got through Christmas ok petals.

I went to work briefly this morning to reset the alarms. Even though I was only there for 20 minutes it was spooky being there alone.

Bim, you gonna watch the Eagles win the superbowl from that cam?

Happy New Year to all. Be safe out there.

The wife asked me what my new year resolution was going to be a few days ago and I said, "Nothing." She asked this last year and got the same answer.
I've only ever kept one new year's resolution in my life, one a I made several years ago. And that was to never make another new year's resolution. Winning!
4 years sober.

I'm in the middle of a coversation by text telling someone that I don't want to see him any more. Oh the joys of life. It is usually me on the receiving end of these types of messages. For the record he texted this evening asking if I wanted to go out tonight. I decided to bite the bullet. I didn't appreciate the notion that I would fall at his feet after months of no contact and all would be the same.

I hope he quits this soon. I hate the back and forth and I don't want to spend the night glued to my phone.

Hi, weekenders.

I didn't have a chance to catch up with all your posts, but I am still here.

Usual Saturday boxing is done. Till next year)

Tomorrow I am watching Holm vs Cyborg early in the morning. I will make myself coffee, take laptop in bed and enjoooooy.

It's been tough year for me. But I finally live at my own place.

Have a good one, weekenders.

See you)
