First Christmas Day sober

First sober Christmas in a long while! Only day 8, so I was stressed (and super irritable at times, with a house full of rotating people and a Clark Griswold husband), but I made it through. I was happy that our dinner was carefully prepared and presented, rather than the sloppy mess it sometimes became when I’ve been drinking. I definitely had some moments of pure joy and laughter, which have been few and far between lately.

Late to the party as I had no internet but I'm grateful to say that I had a great sober Christmas 🎉🎉🎉 my first one...as an adult anyway. I am looking forward to seeing in the new year sober and making 2018 a good one 💜
