Well done for holding out, Red. I experienced similar withdrawals recently. I started hoovering my place and rearranging furniture and eventually, my AV retreated.

It's hard out.. I haven't experienced these cravings with alcohol before, well I guess I have but I've always given in to them so it's different.. I never feel sure whether I will drink or not, I feel I'm just moving from one moment to the next.. I guess all of us here know what it's like and I am very thankful that I've never had withdrawals before..
Anyway, I'm thankful it's the end of day 8, watching a movie with the family...

Thanks for the support everyone, it's amaZing how much it helps to get thru the day...

Good morning from Florida. Is does get better. I came here to the forum to read posts to see if I could take to someone, in hopes to help and get out of my head for a moment. It's Saturday morning. A new day. It starts all over again. A new day to experience things. To feel joy. In the very beginning and even now. I would read...pick up a magazine or a book or an article online and just learn something new. What kind of subjects interest You? Do you have any hobbies that have taken a back burner while you had been drinking that you'd like to explore again? Have a great day and please keep checking in. 5 minutes at a time is great!!!
