Drinking
How did I get to this place once again? I know I had that first sip after 12 days dry. Ive been drinking every day this week. And now im sitting here with the last few shots in my glass of the pint I bought a few hours ago. All I can think about is I only have 45 mins to go to the store and grab a 4 pack of beer to top my night off. I took off work tomorrow to go xmas shopping and plus I have a doctors appointment early in the morning.. i wish Ive never took that first sip..i will likely go back to the store before that 45 mins is up.. sad.. im a waste of space
You're not a waste of space. Not one bit.
You're beautiful and worth it. You're troubled, imperfect, suffering - but mendable.
You want to get better or you wouldn't be posting but your AV is like a demon saying "another 4 wont hurt now so might as well sink lower today".
Please don't. Tip the rest away. Go to bed. Sleep. Wake up - make a coffee - and join us in the December thread. Yes you'll be blurry eyed and feeling like c**p - but you will be OUR 'blurry eyed and and feeling like c**p' companion...
Love from the UK to you.
PS - If you take my advice above then what is the WORST that can happen? The answer is nothing. If you don't what is the worst that can happen? A lot. Please tip it away and go to sleep?

Hi Toni
- don't go out and get more. I dunno whether you're walking or not but it's safer for you to stay home.
You have so much evidence of where drinking leads you and how it doesn't help
What about putting your faith in another way this time? a different choice?
What about not drinking anymore and waking up reasonably ok tomorrow and thinking about a recovery action plan for yourself to help you stay sober?

We've all been there. You're certainly not a waste of space and I think it's a great thing that you're posting on here. I have to agree with everyone else about not picking up any more. Make tomorrow your day one x
