Sometimes it takes a few tries Bradley

Stop by Weekenders thread if you want some support over the holiday weekend.
It's usually pretty active and you are very welcome.

Welcome back Bradley! I also joined in 2012, and it took me a while to finally get things right. I will have two years sober on January 1st, and checking in here daily has been a huge part of my recovery. Join the December class, and also check in on the 24 hour thread.

The link Leigh posted is also great, it has lots of ideas for support.

Looking forward to seeing you on here every day!

Hi I remember you. I’ve been gone a while too but am back because I miss the healthy mind body and spirit I had discovered during 3 sober years and can’t for the life of me work out why I gave it up. I am struggling a bit with short term issues but trying to break it down into hours and days and feel some belief coming through. Hope u hang around too.

Why not try some AA meetings. London is very well served. It'd get you out and about, away from your own head for a while, and be a chance to meet some others who've walked your journey ahead on the path and can guide and support you, and offer you some of their experience, strength and hope til you get some of your own.

That's wonderful news, bradley. Holidays really challenge us. Good idea about the meeting.
