Unsociable

I have not had a drink in nearly 6 weeks and at the moment, I feel really unsociable! All I want to do is exercise, lie on the couch, watch tv and sleep! Arranging to meet up with friends etc. seems like such a chore now and I’m not sure if this is a side effect of early sobriety, the weather or whether I am, in fact, just becoming unsociable. I also feel irritable and easily tired. Last week I didn’t even go to the gym so most of it was spent sleeping when I wasn’t at work. I am forcing myself to go spinning tonight as I know I’ll end up feeling rubbish if I miss it.
Just wanted to write something down. Thanks for reading.

Almost two weeks for me and I’m unsociable as well. I think I’m casting off all vestiges of my party life. It seems like a good change for me and it was surprisingly easy for me to do this.

Sounds quite natural given what you are going through. Have felt the same and this time of year probably heightens it given its "party" season!

Take it as it comes and listen to yourself if you know what I mean.
You don't need to to force yourself to do anything, just look after yourself in these early weeks.
