Well done SoTC. The 'work night out' is a major trigger for me and I have messed up on almost every occasion. Thankfully, our Christmas event got cancelled as people had to travel and couldn't make it. I'm pleased that you managed yours successfully.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I had family visiting this weekend, and we went for a nice drive around the country. Feeling much better. I was grateful to be sober these last two days.

I think when you are "in it" it's hard see to see how things can change, and then they do, quite quickly sometimes.

I'll keep that in mind going forward.
