Hi , I know I know ! life sometimes feel like crap . This time of the year for some reason makes it all seem like a struggle but we need to find that spark that keeps us going , look for things that are good because they are there . Its almost feels right to wallow in self pity , feel like a little child lost but it doesn't help us .Nonetheless we still think we feel better being sad this is depression for you .
Look for something good or at least not so bad to focus on .
I use us and we because I also feel quite down and I understand how you feel but it will pass it always does .
Today I am going to force myself out to buy new Christmas tree lights , I am going to buy myself a proper sit down lunch as opposed to a hot dog . Right now I am going to soak in a hot bath and have a close shave and smell great . I am going to wear my best coat and scarf ( after my bath) go to town and have a good old shopping spree to myself .
Can you think of something positive to do today ? lets look in the mirror and say I don,t need to feel rubbish ,today I am going to have some fun .

I suspect you do care very much. You're sharing how you're feeling and I'm listening.
I'm not sure what to say other than I identify with most of what you've written (at least at one time or another. For me it led to anger and depression, which fizzled out to self hatred, then melancholy. Then the cycle (over a period of time) would repeat itself.
You know you wish to get better and be in a better place in life? Don't give up.
I'm sorry if my words haven't helped. I just wanted you to know that someone was reading.
