Changing my date

I’m still here. I did not drink! My sponsor suggested I change my date to Tues Dec 5th because of how to took a medication. It’s a prescribed medication. I don’t want to have a debate or upset anyone because of this decision. I feel clean and good about what my sponsor suggested. I’m learning that I have a lot of areas to be disciplined in. I am also learning a lot about surrender. This is not my strength. Im not used to taking suggestions and actually following them. Wow. What a ride this is. Thank you all for your encouragement and support.

hi Press- not sure the details about the medication, but IMO and as I myself practice, taking prescribed medicines as directed and with ongoing communication to my dr is A-OK and my sobriety remains intact. I believe if this is what you are doing, it's up to you if you want to restart a date- we owe rigorous honesty to ourselves first.

Best to you - keep going!
