Killers concert tonight

Hi all,
I’m about to head out to the Killers show with my son. I’m not posting for craving help but for sharing gratitude. I am so grateful to not be drunk, hungover or sick in bed. So grateful not to let him down. Day five is hopeful. 😃

Thank you!! For sure. The few concerts that I have been to sober have been the best ones.

In Profile #52 of the Gallery in this linked Article from a sub-Forum here, note that Brandon Flowers of The Killers also lives in what I call SoberSphere.

I will check this out! I just learned earlier this year that he doesn’t drink. Love it! ❤️

Isn't it wonderful to be so present at a show?

And to actually remember it?

I've posted about this before, but it's a fantastic feeling to come home after a show, completely sober. Your ears are ringing and it seems like you were in another world, but you're home safe and sound and you actually enjoyed AND REMEMBER the show. I've seen three or four bands sober in the past two years, and I greatly prefer it to being drunk at a show, having trouble getting home, throwing up, etc.
Sobriety is a fantastic gift.

Morning all! So the show was amaze-balls! Music and bands were great and my son adored every minute. I feel like I’m turning a corner here- all I kept thinking was, “How on earth would booze make this better?!” Good stuff

I went to see Dead and Company with John Mayer and had a blast...

But some drunk lady kept hitting on me in front of her man and my wife, and then she spilt a full drink on me. Had to buy a tee-shirt but being covered with the smell of alcohol almost ruined the concert. Got over it, danced the night away and drove home safe and sound.
