I really believe meetings work. I remember complaining about my first meeting in my new state but now I cant think of a better place to work out your issues; I did find a different meeting group however. I know some people say its not for them and I just say give it a few tries. The first time sucked for me mainly because I didnt want to admit I had a problem. But here I am sober and happy about it.

meetings work for me too. I go fairly regularly but especially when the obsession starts creeping in and I start to get edgy. by the end of the meeting I feel much better and its always good enough to get me thru the rest of the day. one day at a time.
