Sad day
I heard today that a friend and ex drinking buddy was found dead in his flat today. They reckon he'd been dead for 4/5 days when they found him. The cause of death is unknown as yet, but he was a alcoholic and apparently was in a bad way before he died.
He was a kind, funny and caring guy. I feel so sad to think that his life has been cut short because of alcohol. Also, it has really scared me.
I also selfishly thought. . .' This could be me if I go on a binge and it goes wrong.' I hope at least he is at peace now.
