I'm also going through some hard times right now - but after 30+ years of drinking, I finally have come to understand in my heart that a drink only brings more pain upon myself and my loved ones. Being in the moment, practicing kindness and self forgiveness is how I live now and it does work. I gave up during my last relapse and only ended up sick beyond words. Pulled myself up out of the mire and one second at a time moved forward. Please stay with us.
