Payday Tomorrow
For now perhaps.... 3.5 years ago I didn't have any female friends that I could trust or open up to. Now I have plenty, plus I've rebuilt my relationship with my mum. When WE change, THINGS change. You can do this SC. Lean into the fear.

This sounds like a really difficult situation to be in with your neighbor sweetichick, while trying to get sober at the same time. I know I would be constantly triggered to use just by that alone if I were dealing with it. I think some of the other posters' advice to do what you can to remove it from your life sounds like a healthy thing to do, especially as you work through early sobriety. Take care and I'm sending you good thoughts today.
This is a great step forward sc--just stick to it as he may try to contact you
anyway as it has always worked in the past.
I think bb has a wonderful term here "lean into the fear"
by doing that, you take the power away from what you worry about
and give it back to yourself, where it belongs.
You are doing really well--these changes can be a true start to a better life
for you and I believe you can do this.
If you get toxic people like this man out of your life, you make room for people
who really can add joy and fun to your life. You truly deserve this.
Keep posting, be strong, be sober and honor yourself
anyway as it has always worked in the past.
