Dreams

Oh my goodness I just had the worst dream but this isn't the first. Since I have been sober (27 days) I keep having dreams of having a drink and then coming back here to tell you all. This dream I had company pull up and they were telling me about someone who had died and I grabbed a bottle of something and started sneaking it. I later discovered it was NyQuil and I was so ashamed and didn't know if I had really cheated. My mom and my aunt was involved screaming at me and somehow I broke up my parents marriage. I'm still trying to relieve myself it wS just a dream. The other One was vodka and a different story..... ugh....

Hi,
I find drinking dreams serve as a reminder sometimes,

It's quite normal to have them . It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with us or our sobriety.
Us humans are creatures of habit , in my experience the further and deeper you go into sobriety the easier things become .

Keep on , :You_Rock_

First month sober was filled with these dreams, as well as the drinking in the dreams they were loco in general.

Calmed right down after the first month, still have some crazy dreams but not as much about the booze.

Such a relief when you wake up sober though isn’t it!

the drinking dreams can shake you sometimes!! they did finally go away for me. I even had one where I turned down the alcohol. :)
