Day 19 feeling so much better.
Day 19 feeling so much better.
Good Morning.
Sunday football. Go Patriots.
I am starting day 19 feeling so much better. I no longer have a choice. I can't ever drink again. If I do I know that I may never make it back here again. I need to remind myself everyday that this is the harsh cold reality of this addiction.
Positive notes
Blood Sugar on October 27th test at lab was 214 Type 2 diabetic
Blood sugar on November 16 at lab was 114 no longer type 2 diabetic. Dr was pleased. I was thrilled
Blood pressure meds are gone and blood pressure on Friday was 110/68 Dr was pleased. as am I. I have also lost 10 pounds since November 1st.
I am thrilled with all of this needless to say. I can actually look in the mirror and see my eyes instead of two totally bloodshot eyes.
I am amazed how resilient the human body can be.
Grateful to be sober and grateful for this site and all of you.

Congratulations. I've seen you on here having a lot of the same struggles as me and I am really happy to hear things are moving forward in a positive direction. You should be really proud of yourself.
Thank you. Yes it has been a struggle to say the least. I have had so many day one's I have lost track.
Hoping the struggle is getting easier for you.

Thanks, it is. Good days and bad days for sure, but even the worst days now are better than the best ones hung over. Here's to no more day 1's.
