Taking care of basics

When times are tough just make sure you stay sober with the faith that things will get better and you will come out the tough times and peace and serenity will eventually return. All this providing that you work your program of choice of course! When life on life terms get really tough then back to basics is a vital tool and lifeline.

I write this after coming through the other side after a very tough end of last year and half of this year. My recovery program and faith in all those who’ve gone before me and my higher power got me through and as always it makes you stronger and much wiser.

A sober life as a recovered alcoholic is a wonderful privilege and I’m ever grateful for my sobriety and the peace of mind and serenity that it allows me to experience.

Keep the faith
