7 months

Glad to be this far along, though I have a long ways to go. My depression still beats on me, kinda like a toothache. But no hangover!!!
Blessings all!

Well done SF - still right here with you !

It’s a long journey this , I thought 3 months and I’ll be as right as rain, that was a huge miscalculation on my end !

Still one day at a time and every day it gets ever so slightly better - even if 0.00001% then it’s a improvement on where we was 7 months ago

Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Congrats, SF! I'm so glad to hear how you are doing! I'm right behind you at about 6 months.

I hope you can find a way to climb out of the depression.. Are you talking to anyone about it?

Cheering you on!

Tealily,
I have been on a med in the past and it was some help. Counselors haven’t done well with me. 3 of them quit me, so I figured that wasn’t a productive avenue. I did speak with a friend about it this week, but much of my depression generates from circumstance. It goes in waves, I recognize it and see it as a moment. Sometimes when it lasts for longer periods of time I get a bit worn out, but I still manage. I refuse to be a victim of alcohol, depression or any of the like.
