Feeling positive again :)

Since my last post things have improved dramatically out of the blue. I've got myself a new job back which I'm really pleased with and in general it's given be the motivation and drive I was in desperate need of after falling flat on my feet abit, I finally feel like the old me again! Everything was starting to get to me abit and I was in that flat same day , same old story mode. This bit of good news/luck call it what you will, came at just the right time as I really was starting to struggle and i kept on thinking to myself "why am I bothering, surely a drink can't make me feel anyworse". But it just showed me even though I may nearly be 2 years sober , each and every single day is still massively important in its own right on my recovery journey. Maybe I thought it would get easier as time went on and I got complacent. Either way it's still another lesson I can look back on and learn for next time, and most of all never to give up as you never know what lies around the corner.

I'm glad I'm back and fighting again,

James, It made me very happy to read of your progress. Congrats on your new job.

I had many hard lessons, too - but they all served a purpose. Wish I hadn't been such a slow learner.
