Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
So I've recently became a member but I've been on and off reading for almost a year and a half. Why on and off...well my bf of 4 1/2 years is a cocaine abuser. And when he's high he is disgustingly sweet. When he's not high well he's the most hateful man ever. We were living together up until April of this year because I couldn't handle his severe mood swings and neglect! After a month of moving out he "said" he was done with the coke...it was destroying his whole life...he loved me...BLAH BLAH BLAH! Well he's back to his old self...blaming me and everything around him for his use. I wrote him a letter 4 days ago and told him that I refused to live under a microscope of his Jekyll and Hyde observation. I also told him I was tired of living in the past and asked him if he was too. Well I haven't spoke to him in 6 days and I haven't heard from him either. I'm doing my VERY best at no contact but God I love him. Just need a little encouragement on this journey. Thanks.

Where’s the part you love exactly?
It sounds like the best you could hope for is that he continue to consume expensive, illegal and dangerous drugs so that he’s not obnoxious.
That’s no kind of a life, hon. Pray for him and stay away from him.
