I’m clean, 6-8 weeks. Alcohol. I scared my SO/lover. I’m early 40s that’s why I don’t call her not a girlfriend she wants distance but wants me at the same time . Sorry I’m brief

Congrats on your sober time. I imagine your SO might be confused by your sobriety, if she's used to your drinking. The best healer of wounds is Time.
