2 months...
Tommorow will be 2 months sober for me. Hadn't been posting on here since the first couple weeks tho. But things are going pretty OK I guess. I've been to at least one AA meeting a week (more often 2) and they are helpful. I am definitely not religious at all, so there was some skepticism, but it is a good program. Some meetings are better than others but all are informative. For a recap , I managed to get my 3rd dwi. Haven't drank since. Attorney got me a plea deal for 30 days in jail and 3 years no license. I got the plea hearing pushed to next year so I can use vacation time from work. My boss is being supportive of me and I will hopefully be able to keep my job of 15 years. GF has been amazing also. I dunno just checking in I guess. Things could always be worse and a couple months ago I couldn't even imagine how I was going to get through the next day. There will be tough days ahead for sure but today I'm sober and feeling decent enough!
Keep going, it gets better.
