Day 6! Wow As I enter into day 6 my withdrawal symptoms are at an all time low if not completely gone. No headache, the bloating of my face and body has noticeably gone down, the rash is almost completely gone, thankfully the irritability is also very much reduced, night sweats are starting to not be as brutal. I honestly can't believe I've been able to string this many consecutive days together. This is the first time I think it really is whatever it takes. I went to two AA meetings yesterday because there was a big change at work that isn't good. Stirred up emotions and fear. A drink popped into my brain and I know I can't go back out. I didn't want to go to two AA meetings but I needed to get out of self and I hate to say it but it worked! Anyway, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and keep my sobriety before anything else because anything I put before it will be gone if I lose it. I enjoy celebrating my day count as I start to heal and get healthy. |
