Hello To SR From Virginia
 

I'm not new to recovery but I am going to go about it a bit differently than
my last stint. I will have a year sober on Nov 17th, a good start you might think. Excepting I have been in jail. Just released on Monday.

So I am going into a 30 day program this coming Monday. My family and SA councilor urged this. Even though I have been through several other programs of the same and longer over the years I can't come up with a valid reason not to go.

It will lay the ground work of support and such that I usually get away from, thinking I can do it on my own. Thus leading to where I stand today.

I’m from Ashburn, in Loudoun County (Northern VA). I’m about 40 miles due west from DC. I spend a lot of time in Fort Valley, VA, in Shenandoah County.

My sons live in Radford, in SW VA.

Whereabouts are you?

I am in the Hampton Roads area and will be going to a program in Winchester VA.

I’m very familiar with Winchester. It’s very pleasant.

My husband was born in Portsmouth.

I do a lot of work in Norfolk and VA Beach, not so much in Portsmouth now that they have the license plate reading ez pass tolls.
